Sónar Lisboa, the Portuguese edition of the renowned international festival of electronic music and digital culture, is back for its third year. From March 22 to 24, 2024, the Eduardo VII Park in the center of Lisbon will become a hub of innovation and creativity, showcasing the latest trends and talents in music, art and technology.
The festival will offer two different experiences for its attendees: Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night. Sónar by Day, taking place on Saturday and Sunday, will feature indoor and outdoor stages at the Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, a historic building that hosted the 1922 World Expo. There, visitors will be able to enjoy live performances, DJ sets, workshops and exhibitions by local and international artists.
Sónar by Night, happening on Friday and Saturday nights, will transform the covered stage of the Pavilhão Carlos Lopes into a massive dance floor, where some of the most influential names in electronic music will make the crowd move until dawn. The lineup will include both established and emerging acts, covering a wide range of genres and styles.
In addition, the festival will also present Sónar+D, a program of activities dedicated to the exploration of the intersection between creativity and technology. Sónar+D will take place at the Estufa Fria, a greenhouse complex that hosts a variety of exotic plants. There, attendees will be able to participate in conferences, concerts and an audiovisual installation, as well as network with other professionals and enthusiasts in the field.
