Slam Jam Celebrates the 150th Anniversary of the Iconic Levi’s®️ 501®️
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
One hundred and fifty years is a good number to celebrate, don’t you think? If only many of us could go that far, many brands would think. Levi’s®️, American by birth, you know, has managed to be present in fashion for a century and a half. That’s why and to celebrate this beautiful and symbolic figure has decided to ally with Slam Jam for the second time.
Jointly they have decided to delve into the Wild West narrative that has influenced contemporary culture, specifically the films of Leone and the work of Ennio Morricone, and explore the many interpretations of old America, to reimagine the iconic Levi’s jeans model s®️ 501®️.
This garment is mainly characterized by the silver silkscreen it has (Slam Jam’s signature color), being made of 100% organic cotton, and being made in Japan. The jeans we are talking about are not alone and are accompanied by a grey tank top model with a worn-out look, which is dominated by the Italian brand’s logo on the left side of the chest.
