The 63rd edition of ModaLisboa, Lisbon’s Fashion Week, is set to take place from October 10th to 13th, 2024. This year’s event, titled “ModaLisboa Singular,” is a celebration of the unique relationship between the capital city and the fashion industry.
The campaign, launched today and signed by Havas Portugal with production by Casper Films, reflects the plural nature of ModaLisboa Singular. The film highlights the diverse spaces, creators, and creatives that come together to make the Fashion Week a success. This new strategy aligns with the ModaLisboa Association’s goal of redesigning the event’s programming to respond to the evolving fashion industry and society.
In anticipation of the official calendar, ModaLisboa opens its design pop-up store on October 2nd at Locke Santa Joana, the new official hotel of Lisboa Fashion Week. The temporary store, open until October 13th, will feature ModaLisboa designers and a selection of national brands to encourage direct interaction between creatives and audiences.
While the main presentations of the new collections will take place in the Pátio da Galé, ModaLisboa is also expanding its geographic reach to Avenida da Liberdade. The free-entry exposition “Workstation New Media” will return on October 10th, showcasing new languages and immersive experiences at the intersection of fashion, visual arts, and technology.
Before the exhibition, ModaLisboa Singular will host “Fast Talks” on October 10th, a series of conferences featuring national and international speakers. These talks will focus on the role of technology in fashion practice and the contribution of creative industries to the city’s regeneration.
In addition to the main events, ModaLisboa Singular will also feature a variety of other free-entry events, including the announcement of the results of the second edition of the “beat by be@t” sustainability innovation program.
