Just when it seemed that Paris Fashion Week was over, suddenly the French house Saint Laurent arrived and held a fashion show ( a surprise for some) to present the men’s Winter 2024 collection, designed by its current creative director Anthony Vaccarello.

The event was held in the same space where the women’s line was recently shown and with the same intimate character. Unlike other times, the catwalk was circular and the 40 looks that the Belgian-Italian designed for the occasion could be seen.

Sartorial, with the permission of the celebrities in attendance, was the star of the evening, as it is what Anthony’s new work was mainly composed of. There were dozens of eighties-style suits, all perfectly structured and with flowing silhouettes. Some of them were made in Vaccarello’s favorite color, black, and the rest in neutrals and powdered tones. The amusing touch was that some of them were combined with black glasses with acetate frames, a small tribute to the figure of Yves Saint Laurent himself.

Coats, meanwhile, in fabrics similar to latex or vinyl, finished off and elevated the offer, making it one of the most contemporary of recent times.
