For FW14 collection Rochambeau sought inspiration from the world of demolition derby, motor-cross and underground car racing. Taking interior and exterior lines, forms, and shapes from cars, driver’s uniforms, protective gear as well as scrap metal enabled the use of elaborate design elements.
Padding on outerwear, placement of tone on tone fabric combinations as well as introducing innovative seaming, stitching detail and pocket placement further evolves and determines the Rochambeau DNA. The result is an energetic collection, existing in the realms of designer Prêt-à- Porter and risk taking urban street wear.
