Pierre-Henry Bor, a student from the Istituto Marangoni Paris, has been crowned the winner of this year’s ‘Projet Fashion’ broadcast on D8, a French TV channel. This issue is none other than the French adaptation of the famous American program ‘Project Runway’. For several weeks and through various fashion challenges, 9 candidates with different profile, aged from 22 to 49 years old, competed for the top of the podium in front of a demanding jury of professionals: Catherine Baba, Alexandra Senes, Roland Mouret, Donald Potard, Babara Bui, Delphine Manivet or Kappauf.
Pierre-Henry completed a three years course in Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni Paris where he learned to develop creative, intellectual and technical skills related to the fashion industry. Since graduating in 2013, where he was valedictorian, Pierre-Henry has accumulated a number of awards: finalist of the competition ‘Triumph Inspiration Award’, first prize at ESCP fashion contest in 2013, first prize in ‘PODIUM Jeunes Stylistes’ in February 2014 and first prize in ‘Dress’In Essca X MCD’ in April 2014. In addition to his many successes, in 2013 the promising young designer also underwent an internship at the studio of the talented Dutch Fashion Designer: Iris Van Herpen.
Istituto Marangoni The School of Fashion Paris is proud to graduate and support young professionals each year, who are ready to integrate into fashion and luxury houses in France and abroad. Seizing new and exciting opportunities and making themselves known among both the professionals of the fashion industry and the general public.
