Not Your Mom’s Potluck
by Felipe Castro
LỰU ĐẠN gave the best night to let loose during Paris Fashion Week, filled with hotpot, mahjong, and karaoke. As guests entered, a ping pong table and claw machines welcomed them, letting everyone know it was about to be a fun night. Along with Hung La, LỰU ĐẠN hosted “Not Your Mom’s Potluck” at Fondue Zhangge in Paris, an escape where hedonism was tinged in red as guests sang their hearts out song after song. If they ever needed a break from all the singing and dancing, a massage room was available for everyone to treat themselves, on the lower floor after going through a galactic tunnel that set them underwater or in outer space. With every turn, another surprise awaited, ensuring no guest left without a story to tell.
Nothing’s better than a good dinner to end the week, and on Sunday night, LỰU ĐẠN made sure no one went to bed hungry. There were several hotpot tables where steam rose from pots of broth bubbling before coming to a rolling simmer with all the hotpot essentials guests were craving. Steam also seemingly rose from bodies as dancing was inevitable with all the hyped energy from all the attendees, with only the best recipe to cool down, mochi, and kombucha to stay hydrated. The brand’s activation had invitees create strong bonds through laughs and chants, growing its diverse community with a series of pastimes to forget about reality for a night.
