MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon
by Adriano B.
In the latest installment of MM6 Maison Margiela and SALOMON‘s ongoing collaboration, the second phase has dropped. It’s all about celebrating their shared commitment to innovative, transitional design.
This fall, they’re hitting us with six new releases, featuring the Cross Mid trainer and the XT 15 backpack.
The Cross Mid trainer embodies the fusion of technical performance wear with a unique silhouette. An inner slip-on shoe, chunky rubber sole, and a toggled waterproof gaiter combine to create its unconventional midcut shape. The shoe comes in bold colorways: slate blue, graphite & rose, and bitter chocolate, ice blue & moonstone grey.
Now, let’s talk backpacks. SALOMON’s XT 15 backpack gets a makeover in line with MM6 Maison Margiela’s distinctive design philosophy. It’s got practical front pockets, a waistband for stability, a breathable build, and versatile storage options. Whether you’re tackling rush-hour commutes, hitting the trails, or embarking on a triathlon, this backpack has your back. It comes in subtle yet eye-catching colorways: black, bitter chocolate, and slate blue, each featuring a co-branded logo on the outer back.
