LVMH Prize 2017: Menswear Designers Announced for First Round
by Anna Barr

The fourth edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers is gaining momentum, with more than 1200 candidates representing 90 countries. Among the fashion designers chosen for this fourth edition of the LVMH Prize, ten are devoted to men’s fashion and two to “unisex”. Following Grace Wales Bonner (Winner 2016), menswear is maintaining a strong presence in the selection.
The designers will now be invited to meet the 45 international fashion experts who will elect the 8 finalist held on March 2 and 3 in Paris. The LVMH Prize will be awarded by the Jury on June 16 to the Louis Vuitton Foundation. J.W.
