LOEWE is back with another exciting collaboration, this time teaming up with On to bring us the Cloudtilt, a sneaker designed for those on the move. It’s a blend of meticulous design and Swiss engineering, exploring the fusion of craftsmanship and technology.
The Cloudtilt‘s unique feature? Clouds that flex and adapt to your every step, shifting the weight from heel to toe, keeping you comfortable and agile. It’s all about movement, and the Cloudtilt incorporates On’s CloudTec® Phase technology, a computer-generated midsole that offers cushioning with a minimalist touch.
Using Finite Element Analysis software to mimic leg and foot tension during walking, these sneakers are precision-engineered to provide superior cushioning even during those long days on your feet.
With a knitted sock-like structure, quick laces, and the LOEWE × On collaborative branding, the Cloudtilt sports a sleek, aerodynamic design. The EVA foam outsole ensures a smooth stride while minimizing rubber usage to specific contact points. And for the eco-conscious, the upper is made from 99% recycled polyester, showing LOEWE × On’s dedication to performance and sustainability. Even the packaging is 100% recycled industrial materials.
The Cloudtilt will be available in two versions, each with its unique color palette. Drop 1 for men, hitting the shelves on October 12th, offers choices like white, black, lime green, khaki green, and navy blue. Meanwhile, Drop 1 for women features options like white, black, lime green, purple pink, and navy blue. For those eagerly awaiting Drop 2, scheduled for January 2024, expect earthy tones, wild pink, and slate grey for men, and earthy tones, wild pink, and beetroot red for women.
To celebrate this collaboration, a launch campaign photographed by Thibaut Grevet captures the essence of movement and technology. From gymnast Yonghon Huh to BMX rider Cindy Dos Reis and many more, the campaign showcases a diverse array of physical expressions, highlighting the richness of human movement.
