Collection 1 Act 2 follows the label’s inaugural expansive collection Act 1, where designer Kingsley Gbadegesin built upon his core offering in new ways that felt right for the label’s next transition. While continuing to champion a new form of inclusive and approachable luxury, Act 2 is the juxtaposition of that energy. Paying tribute to his past careers, Queer New York nightlife and Ballroom which has helped him discover himself.
“I”m THE GIRL from Act 1 and definitely THE GIRL from Act 2, depends on the day and mood – but what I want to communicate is that they can exist at the same time” says Gbadegesin. It’s a continuation of the K.NGSLEY aesthetic and an ode to how Kingsley wishes to present himself to the world.
