“Icon. That’s the name Mike Amiri‘s menswear label AMIRI has given to its latest campaign. And of course, the occasion deserved to feature someone iconic, like the New York hip-hop duo Black Star, also known by others like Yasiin “Mos Def” Bey and Talib Kweli.
The Fall/Winter 23 collection that appears in the images that make up the selection and which is worn by the two artists is related to the whole process of music production, carried out in a studio, and everything that goes with it. The two Americans know better than anyone how difficult it can be at times and how hard you have to work to achieve your goals. They achieved all their goals and now they are back, not only to present their new album, but also to show how iconic they were in their day and still are. Good things never die. And they are dressed head to toe AMIRI to reaffirm this. The best of the looks? The hats that fuse the decades of the 50s and 90s are fundamental in the life of many young Americans.
