The HELIOT EMIL Fall/Winter 21 collection titled “Unstable Equilibrium” explores an interpretation of the difference between states of equilibrium.
“Is it possible to make something appear unstable while being stable? Is it possible to find a perfect balance in asymmetry? Can we challenge traditional shapes or can we modify items to be worn both in and out of balance?”
These questions were part of the development process of the FW21 collection. Constructing with the familiar HELIOT EMIL silhouettes, designer Julius Juul continues the constant narrative of exploring a balance between form and function with each garment design.
