Gentle Monster x Diplo
by Adriano Batista

Gentle Monster debuts its new eyewear collaboration with Grammy-winning artist, producer and DJ Diplo.
The collection brings together elements of classic style with modern functionality and design. The line features two aviator-style frames: the LONE WOLF and THE CUB, made with lightweight premium titanium decorated with soft groove details, and detachable clips designed by Diplo in four eye-catching color iterations hand-picked by the artist that are easy to take on and off. The collection features adjustable dials for temple length customization – a new approach to eyewear design by Gentle Monster. The collection includes eyewear cases that come with a special printed handwritten note and signature from Diplo.
Diplo’s collaborative spirit crosses over into eyewear, his ability to bridge the gap between classic and modern is highlighted within the design of the frames, which are an extension of his dynamic persona and style.
“I was stoked to collaborate with Gentle Monster and work creatively in a different way,” says Diplo. “I’m grateful they were down to push the envelope with me, and I love what we created. Hope you wear them everywhere.”

See below the 3D digital campaign titled, ‘SPACE COWBOY’. The concept is inspired by Diplo’s signature cowboy look and sees the artist embark on an adventure into space wearing Gentle Monster sunglasses to save the Earth and humanity from an unidentified light source that is causing disorder on Earth.
