Eytys x Ali Boulala

Eytys are presenting a new collab this winter with fellow Swede and legendary skateboarder, Ali Boulala. A pioneer within modern skateboarding, Boulala’s take on the classic Eytys Mother sneaker features a pair of all black leather low-tops with furry lining.
With his aggressive and highly individual approach to skate, Boulala pioneered the international skate scene in the late 90s and early 2000s. Known for his extreme skating in obscure, untouched locations, Boulala went for personal style more than award winning tricks – among his best known scenes is an attempt to ollie a twenty-five stair in Lyon, France.
Boulala brought his own style to the design process, creating his ideal pair of post-skate shoes together with Eytys. The legendary skater’s version of the Mother sneakers are made in all black with an upper of croco embossed leather, clashed with nylon mesh details. Made to keep the wearer warm all through winter, the sneakers are lined with fake fur, carrying the signature Eytys rubber soles and purple tab at back. The capsule collection also includes two merch t-shirts in black and white. The t-shirts are made in Japan of top quality heavyweight 7.1 oz tubular knit.
The collaboration will be released internationally on November 27 and sold exclusively in store and online at Colette, Caliroots, Eytys Stockholm City and Eytys.com. Pricing: 170 Euro (shoes), 60 euro (t-shirt). The shoes are sold with a unique shoe box, displaying a close-up of Boulala from one of his most talked about films.
