Eytys x 10 Corso Como
by Adriano Batista

Swedish unisex brand Eytys joins American ceramicist Jessica Hans in creating two pairs of screen printed suede sneakers with artworks based on Hans’ synonymous design. The shoes will be sold exclusively at 10 Corso Como in Milan, Seoul and Shanghai, Eytys Stockholm City and online at Eytys.com
Hans, born 1988, is based in Philadelphia and known for her raw, misshapen aesthetics. The Eytys x Jessica Hans collaboration feature ceramics and two pairs of sneakers with an abstract pattern inspired by post-modernism and the work of Miró and Keith Haring.
To collaborate with artists within all fields is an ongoing project for Eytys. Previous names have included photographer Dafy Hagai as well as artists Sasha Kurmaz and Rhys Coren. – We belive in shared creativity and using Eytys as a platform to work with multidisciplinary talents we admire. By inviting creative minds from anywhere in the world, we want to do exciting projects without geographical or cultural boundaries, says Max Schiller, creative director and co-founder.
Eytys x Jessica Hans will be launched during Milan Fashion Week in September. Both models will feature the classic Eytys trademarks such as a vulcanized rubber sole, waxed laces and a purple tab at the back. All packaging will feature Jessica Hans’ artwork. Pricing: 180 EURO (low top Mother) and 230 EURO (high-top Odyssey).
