Endless Joy Fall/Winter 2024 – DROP 1
by Adriano Batista
Endless Joy unveiled the first drop of their Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
Inspired by their vivid imagination, the designers Stevie and Alexandra Anderson have created a collection that blurs the veil between myth and reality. Ancient symbols and modern visions collide, revealing the timeless dance of creation and destruction. The collection’s artworks, hand-painted by Stevie and Alexandra, bring these themes to life.
From the twisted tale of Argus and his hundred eyes to the raw intensity of Medusa’s severed head, the collection explores the darker side of mythology. The “Dance Macabre” resurrects the medieval dance of death, reminding us of mortality’s inevitability. The “Deadman” series captures the raw, untamed spirit of a world on the brink of civilization, while “Enter the Dragon” takes us on an Eastern journey filled with vibrant hues and symbolism.
As the collection unfolds, it shifts from mythic dread to surreal introspection. The “Mandarin Dream” speaks quietly of mortality, while “Palms” and “Cat” capture the carefree sway of tropical trees and the mystery of the night. “Landscape with Shadows” is a monochrome ode to the eternal bond between man and nature. “Arcadia” and “Down by the River” delve into the primal, wild side of existence, where man is a small figure against the vastness of nature. Through these images, the thin veil between myth and reality blurs, drawing us into a world where ancient symbols and modern visions collide.
Each artwork is carefully printed on a range of garments, including shirts, trousers, shorts, silk scarves, blankets, and jacquard woven outerwear. Crafted from the finest organic fabrics and embellished with Mother of Pearl detailing, each piece is designed for longevity and luxury. For every garment sold, three trees are planted.
