Courrèges Resort 2026
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
If there is a brand that currently represents the Parisian style and vibe, it is Courrèges – creatively directed by Nicolas Di Felice -, characterised by its minimalist style and a certain rave touch.
The company’s aesthetic, in terms of artistic direction, campaigns and so on, has always been oriented towards the contemporary, where the colour white, with the permission of the models and the looks, was always the protagonist, since when it came to choosing a set, it was always there. But this seems to have changed, since on this occasion the Resort 2026 Spring/Summer collection has been presented as usual through a lookbook, but in a new way, which is a series of selfies without filters, taken in mirrors placed in different streets of the French capital, by friends of the house, like Axel Gay or Samuel Elie, among others.
All cast members embrace the spirit of the house with love and wear Di Felice’s designs with a powerful but relaxed attitude, as if they were walking the runway for his eagerly awaited show. The men’s wardrobe is filled with oversized leather jackets paired with boxy polo shirts, curved trousers, and sock-style shoes, inspired by the house’s archive.
On the other hand, some of the Nicolas classics are still present, see for example the buckled strapless tops; while on the other hand, new additions join the line, such as the new soft-shaped Strip bag, whose ingenious construction packs its contents under folded magnetic flaps – that can also be worn open, and features a clasp closure – and a clasp closure, while a zipped pocket built in the top keeps essential items secured.
