Burberry adds three new floral home fragrances to its scented candle collection
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Scent and candle lovers, this will surely interest you, because the British fashion house Burberry has expanded its corresponding collection by adding three new floral fragrances for home use, inspired by the British landscape, from cultivated gardens to untouched nature.
The items we are talking about stand out mainly, apart from their characteristic and unique scents, for their exquisite design, as they feature the Equestrian Knight logo in relief – one of the first distinctive codes of the firm introduced around 1901 – and have been designed to burn from the centre, always maintaining their column shape, with a duration of up to 120 hours. As a curiosity, to achieve this shape, each one is crafted by a specialised craftsman in Italy and requires 48 hours to be hand-poured, finished and polished. Once this is achieved, they are placed on a fine porcelain plate, stamped on the base with the Burberry logo in a contrasting matt finish. The plates are manufactured in a ceramic workshop in Stoke-on-Trent, the traditional heart of the British ceramics industry, and take up to four days to complete.
Regarding the range of scents, there are six, which are: rose and violet, botanical garden, wildflower meadow, smoky wood and clove, ivy and sandalwood, and ginger and caramel.
