Japanese brand AURALEE showed their Fall/Winter 2024/25 collection on the first day of Paris Fashion Week at Palais de Tokyo in the rectangular marble upper gallery echoing the minimalist aesthetics. Models walked out carrying dry cleaning mirroring the banal and the pristine that makes up our daily lives. The collection draws on pieces that are meant to be worn from going home after work to going out with friends. The seriousness is found in the sophisticated textiles of unparalleled quality that AURALEE has made a name with.

Relaxed silhouettes were offered slightly boxy for an outerwear touch while tailoring was soft with lean city-coats contrasting with voluminous parkas, bombers, puffers, and structured hoodies, today’s winter staples were given an elevated twist. On that note, we got a peak of their next New Balanced collaboration in vintage-inspired colorways of greens and blues.

Pale greens throughout the collection stood out as the color of the season as a warmer alternative to winter whites, subdued hues were offset by vibrant tones of red and turquoise. Shaggy alpaca, fuzzy mohair, tweed, all of the textiles made up our favorite things.
