WANSIE, established in 2019 by the creative duo Masahiro Hirota and Shinya Kuraoka, is a Japanese fashion brand that marries the practicality of workwear with the finesse of traditional Japanese artisanship, all while maintaining a modern edge.
The Fall/Winter 2024 collection, titled “Afternoon Camouflage,” captures the art of natural disguise as seen in the wild and transposes it into an urban context. Drawing inspiration from the understated hues and designs found in nature’s own camouflage, the collection infuses everyday life with an enchanting allure, encouraging people to engage with and appreciate the natural aesthetics in their daily environment.
