The latest collaboration between Song for the Mute and adidas Originals, ADI005, feels like a quiet journey into the essence of life—where solitude meets warmth, and vastness offers shelter. Inspired by pastoral life, the collection reflects the simplicity of the land: domes, doorways, shepherds, goats, charred toast, and fresh milk. It’s a world that feels timeless and familiar.

At its core are two reimagined silhouettes. The Superstar, rebuilt with soft, tactile materials like vegetable-tanned suede and buttery leather, echoes earthy tones of brown, off-white, and black. A custom shell toe and antiqued eyelets give it a grounded, enduring feel. The Adistar Cushion, more technical, uses nubuck suede, pony hair, and open mesh to create a layered, imperfect look, with a dusted outsole that feels shaped by time and movement.

The apparel extends this philosophy. A reimagined tracksuit in brown and black features gold piping and contrast panels, while shepherd-like knits and washed tees add warmth and utility. The cuts are relaxed, the details subtle—clothing that feels lived-in and timeless.

The campaign, shot by Gabriel Silver Parker, transforms ADI005 into a dreamlike narrative. Inspired by Goat Yoga, it plays with balance and movement, blending the real and surreal. Models drift through liminal spaces, their gestures both instinctive and composed, reflecting the nomadic rhythms of pastoral life.
