Iconic and unforgettable. Yes, those would be the perfect words to define the latest show of DSQUARED2 – the brand founded and creatively directed by the funniest twins in the fashion industry, Dean and Dan – held during Milan Fashion Week and thus serving as a celebration event of its thirtieth anniversary in the business.
The show, as just mentioned, was held in what many consider to be the fashion capital of the world, but anyone who hadn’t been there to take a look at the videos posted on social media might have said it was in New York, as the set for the occasion was themed around a Big Apple nightclub and breathed the cosmopolitan atmosphere of it. On the streets that make up that city, many young people are usually seen, and in this case, it is the same they are dressed from head to toe in the D2’s looks, coming out of different types of cars, some high-end and others more special, such as the armoured tank that left the rapper of the moment Doechii, in charge of opening the show and giving way to the rest, in the middle of the catwalk.
NLE Choppa, Irina Shayk, Tyson Beckford, Bach and Victor Perez, Alex Consani, Alton Mason, Amelia Gray, or the legendary Naomi Campbell were some of those who accompanied the American and defended the spirit of Dsquared2 as only they know how with powerful attitude and sass. The looks they wore from the Fall/Winter 2025 collection, many of which were taken from the archive and reimagined, further reinforced the way they acted. These seasons wardrobe staples always stand out for the spectacular coats, the perfect selection of denim and leather pieces – accompanied by studs, crystals, and prints-, and the tailoring; plus of course the accessories such as XL hats, belts, and footwear.
Complementing all this dopamine high were the various collaborations that took place, as a tribute to those three decades in business, with Magliano, Vaquera, Better, Ducatti, and Kiss.
Happy birthday to Dean and Dan and the whole DSQUARED2 team for these thirty years. With you guys around, it’s nice to grow up, but you know what they say, thirties are the new twenties.
