CAMPERLAB unveils its Spring/Summer 2024 Campaign
by Adriano Batista
CAMPERLAB has launched its first campaign for the Spring/Summer 2024 season, showcasing its latest designs of shoes and clothing. The campaign, which was produced under the guidance of the creative director Achilles Ion Gabriel, features a dreamlike and dystopian setting that reflects the brand’s innovative and experimental spirit.
The images were captured by Dutch photographer Paul Kooiker, who is known for his suggestive and surreal imagery. Kooiker captured the models in a dusty and deserted room, where the colors are faded and the furniture is falling apart. The room, which is both empty and full, represents a present that is hidden from our eyes, but that we can sense in some way. The set design was created by Shona Heath, who was nominated for an Oscar for her work in the film Poor Creatures by Yiorgos Lanthimos.
The campaign stars the most striking shoes of the season, such as Tormenta, Vamonos, Venga and Pelotas Flota, which combine classic shapes with modern details and materials. The campaign also includes some pieces from the unisex ready-to-wear collection, which features denim garments in washed-out colors and digital prints with wavy patterns, inspired by the idea of distorted reality.
