Enter the pod and discover the Moncler and Rick Owens collection
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Moncler is doing double duty this week, as a couple of days ago they presented a collaboration with Sacai, in which they imagined what the next 70 years of the brand would be like, and days after unveiling another one, this time with Rick Owens.
The American designer is fascinated by the Italian firm, in part because of the way it presents fashion, which he says is bold, modern, and innovative and feels relevant to the way we live today.
Both parties have worked closely together in the design and development of the collection, creating a soundproofed steel sleep pod with a regenerative oxygen concentration function and a temperature-controlled ventilation system, where you can occasionally lock yourself away to unwind and isolate.
If you go inside, you will see all the solemn, elongated silhouettes and quilted garments they have created. Some are made in black denim, dirty-dyed cotton, or organic jersey cotton, while others are in faded nylon and cashmere from blue to acid yellow. Do you dare to enter the pod? You’ll win for sure because you’ll be able to get your hands on some of the Rick Owens x Moncler puffer jackets, extra-long coats, skirts, tops, or shorts. Think about it, but don’t take too long to decide, otherwise, they’ll be sold out and you won’t even be able to pick up a bow scarf or a pair of furry boots, items that finish off your looks and make a difference on the outside.
Rick Owens x Moncler collection is now available for purchase. Click here to buy.
