Juan VG Drops “Street Kids” Capsule Collection
by Adriano Batista
Juan VG has just dropped the “Street Kids” capsule collection. A collection that invites you to embrace that carefree, streetwise vibe – to own your style without a care about who’s watching. It’s all about feeling at ease, having fun with your fashion, and taking it back to the days when we played on the streets with no judgments, no discrimination, just pure fun.
“Street Kids” channels the grunge and distressed aesthetics of the brand but adds a playful, almost childlike twist to it, and a hint of rebellion for good measure. This capsule brings a nostalgic touch with logos from your childhood favorites – El Niño, Guru, and Superdry, among others. These logos get a makeover with airbrushed designs, playing with eyes, mouths, tongues, and other distinctive brand symbols. The result? A trippy and slightly bizarre transformation that takes us on a journey away from the ordinary.
But it’s not just logos and graphics that define this collection. Juan VG also introduces a range of denim jackets, tailored shirts, crochet pieces, and jeans that effortlessly blend into the streetwise vibe.
And when it comes to accessories, he goes all in. Second-hand caps get a unique touch with denim, crochet, studs, pins, and buttons. These same buttons and pins find their way onto necklaces, completing the look.
