Tim Coppens who won the 2012 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award, opens the New York Fashion Week’s menswear show for Spring/Summer 2013 with a collection entitled “Gentlemen of the Sky”, inspired by Post-World War II fighter pilots and the early icons of Detroit’s techno music scene.
In an homage to director Tony Scott, Tim Coppens closes the show with a remix of Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away”.
Unlike his previous almost grotesque electronic releases, “Piel” it’s a wonderfully written composition, entirely sang in Spanish revealing to the world a much more intimate and sensitive side of Alejandro Ghersi.
#makelovenotwalls is about tearing down the mental and physical walls that separate us, and let all sides come together in the name of unity and love. Diesel wants to tear down these walls showing that a brighter and exciting tomorrow is possible.
