Georgy Baratashvili está considerado como uno de los más destacados diseñadores de moda masculina. De origen Georgiano nació y se crió en Moscú aunque ahora vive en Londres. Impulsado por la necesidad constante de la libre expresión, desde una edad temprana, Georgy muestra talentos naturales y creativos como la pintura, la música y, sobre todo, la danza.
Georgy ha sido bailarín profesional durante 15 años y ahora está dando clases de street dance como hobby. Siempre ha sido un apasionado de la moda: estudió diseño y patronaje en Moscú. Creó el vestuario para obras de teatro y trabaja como estilista freelance para diversas publicaciones. En 2003 Georgy se trasladó a Londres, donde completó BA en la London College of Fashion y MA en el Central Saint Martins (2008). Ganador de algunos premios de diseño durante sus años universitarios, Georgy también trabajó para Preen, diseñando prendas para sus tiendas. También ha colaborado con Puma de manera exitosa. Su colección de St. Martins MA ha atraído el interés internacional ya que se incorporaron elementos y técnicas no utilizados tradicionalmente en la moda masculina.
