Alexander Wang is ready to launch his first full RTW Spring/Summer 2012 collection for men. The lookbook was shot in Brooklyn earlier this month. Wang says that the collection is inspired by East London youth subcultures. He also names Diplo, Wiz Khalifa and “Johnny Depp in the nineties” as people who have inspired him. The collection features strong trenches, contrast jackets and sweaters with leather patchwork, denim, smart shirting and leather look shorts.
For the Fall/Winter 2017 collection Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, co-founders and artistic directors of Maison Kitsuné, drew their inspiration from American pop culture and the aesthetic and creative energy of New York born, Paris based, artist William Klein.
