In the latest drop from Y-3, the fusion of performance innovation and street-ready style is on full display. Chapter 4 is all about embracing winter’s challenges with a dash of urban flair. Let’s dive in.
On the apparel front, we’re talking puffers, parkas, and vests. They come decked out with some slick metal zips and a snap button closure that plays with asymmetry. Tweak it to your liking, and you’ve got a fresh look. Plus, there’s this brush stroke motif making waves in all-over prints and bold graphics. Subtle? Not really. Cool? Absolutely.
Now, kick up your footwear game with two styles: the Y-3 GENDO and the Y-3 KYASU. The GENDO takes the iconic adidas Superstar and flips it on its head with a hollowed-out TPU plate. It’s like sneaker innovation met modern art. On the other side of the spectrum, the KYASU goes minimalist with a stitched upper and a solid, brick-like outsole. Oh, and there are some slick monochromatic versions of the Y-3 SUPERSTAR, Y-3 MARATHON TR, and Y-3 GAZELLE to round out the lineup.
The campaign, shot by Valeria, shifts from Berlin’s music scene to its eclectic artist community. It’s a city of contrasts, where raw creativity meets a hint of darkness. The faces in the spotlight? Local talents making waves in the German city, from painters and dancers to music producers and tattoo artists.
