Willy Chavarria and Pro Club’s capsule collection has arrived!
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Willy Chavarria and sportswear brand Pro Club have something to tell you, and yes, as you might imagine, that something is in the form of collaboration, arriving to conquer the Spring/Summer 2023 season.
The limited-edition line is no surprise, given that it was unveiled during the designer’s last runway show last September, but it’s a capsule that arrives and is received in the best possible way, paying homage to the sporty imprint that has shaped the style culture of the state in which it was born.
Comprising eleven pieces, the designs that make up the collab stand out above all for the designer’s touches, as well as the accentuated shapes and cuts. There are windbreaker jackets centred on the dual iconography of red, black, and white; thigh-length tank tops; cargo shorts with pockets and knee-length trousers; and long cargo shorts with similar construction and ankle-length fabric overhangs.
Our favourite item from the capsule collection? The “Homies” T-shirt, which features an inscription that reads: “FRIENDS! LET’S KEEP BEING HOMIES FOR LIFE” – and so be it!
If you have been won over, like us, by the pieces of the collaboration between Willy Chavarria and Pro Club, it’s very easy. Just type www.willychavarria.com or www.shopproclub.com into your search engine and choose what you like best, because the collection is already on sale.
