Outlier unveils its seventh installment in the IDEAS series for Fall 2024. The series, which began in 2020, is the brainchild of Design Director Willie Norris. It stands at the intersection of practicality and imagination, merging Outlier’s functional fabrics with Norris’ visionary design ethos.
The latest collection, titled “Dirty Dirty Jobs,” delves into the often-overlooked daily ritual of dressing. It challenges the notion of dressing as a mundane task, instead proposing it as an opportunity for self-expression and empowerment. The title takes inspiration from a Midjourney portrait by artist Yuki James, featured on a standout tank top in the collection.
Embracing the concept of the “impossible runway,” a hallmark of the IDEAS series, the collection presents a narrative through clothing. Models showcase seven distinct looks that represent different moments of their day, culminating in a collective gathering.
