Sam Smith – Unholy feat. Kim Petras
Sam Smith teamed up with Kim Petras for his comeback with the nasty and sassy single “Unholy”. In a press statement, Smith made it clear about this new sound direction and argued that “I’ve never had so much fun making a record. It was so cathartic and freeing to experiment like this and throw out the rule book. It has also been an honor to work with Kim and get to witness her brilliance. This song is about liberating oneself from the clutches of others’ secrets…”
Lil Nas X – Star walkin’
Riot Games just announced that American musician and rapper Lil Nas X became the ambassador of League of Legends, one of the most famous and successful video games of the moment. For more than 180 millions of players all over the world Lil Nas X will curate and take charge of the music and for the occasion he revealed an exclusive single “Star Walkin”” which will be another successful hit for sure.
Adam Naas – A story we don’t tell
French musician Adam Naas will be back in January 2023 with his second album “Goldie and the Kiss of Andromeda”. After the track “Forever mine” released some months ago, he just delivers us the music video of new single “A story we don’t tell”and it sounds more rock and mischievous. It’s good to see you back Adam!
Bru-C – Say No More
Uk musician Bru-C returned earlier this week with his hard-hitting new single “Say No More”. Co-produced by Shapes and Sonny Fodera, this track takes the listener on a high-octane journey through Bru-C’s chaotic and brilliant life, shifting between genres as the track builds in intensity.
Alewya – Let go
Following the release of her highly praised bold debut EP, “Panther in Mode”, Alewya returns with the latest dazzling weapon in her arsenal: the new single and video for “Let Go”. Brimming with wonky ancestral drums and raspy melodies, “Let Go” marks a new phase for her, one that through a time of mental agony and confusion revealed a newfound personal freedom and confidence.
Major Lazer & Major League DJz – Koo koo fun feat. Tiwa Savage and DJ Maphorisa
Major Lazer partners with South African producers Major League DJz and reveal their first track “Koo Koo Fun” featuring Nigerian superstar Tiwa Savage and producer Dj Maphorisa. The original version of this song was produced by Don Jazzy, mainly known for his collaborations with Kanye-West and Jay-Z and who recently signed rising star Rema.
Mykki Blanco – Pink diamond bezel
“Pink Diamond Bezel” is taken from Mykki Blanco’s new album “Stay Close To Music” out 14th October 2022 via Transgressive Records. In a press statement he explained that “When I think about the vibe of “Pink Diamond Bezel” I imagine a stretch limousine riding through snow capped mountains, drinking Kahula and cream with a group of friends in cashmere sweaters, very après-ski- then out of nowhere a shaman appears in the middle of the road, the car halts – a spell is cast, the road catches fire, and we’re forced to kneel in supplication to the forces of nature!”.
