Scottish soul musician Joesef just released his anthemic new single “Joe”, and announces his highly anticipated debut album “Permanent Damage”, to be released on 13 January 2023 on AWAL. This latest single introduces the overarching theme of the album: the permanent damage and the cost of loving deeply, and how that stays, like a scar, with you.
Mura Masa, Erika de Casier – e-motions
To celebrate the release of his new album “demon time”, Mura Masa delivered the music video of his track “e-motions” featuring Portuguese-born Danish singer Erika de Casier. The result of this collaboration is a tender track about heartbreak. Conclusion: it’s a beautiful nostalgia song.
Rema, Selena Gomez – Calm down
Nigerian rising superstar Rema teamed up with Selena Gomez for a new version of his successful summer hit “Calm Down”. Taken from his debut LP “Rave & Roses” which features collabs with Chris Brown and 6Black, ”Calm Down” might be a huge hit in the US as well with the help of Selena ’s vocals.
ShaSimone – Ten toes
Hackney rapper ShaSimone dropped her debut EP “Simma Down” last Friday with the new single “Ten Toes” ft BOJ. This project is a huge statement of intent that shows her talent as a writer and performer with tracks like “Future” and “Thug Affection” showcasing her reflecting on her struggles and “Lock Off” showing her ability to create a hard-hitting earworm.
BLEU – Love in the way feat. Nicki Minaj
Multi-Platinum artist BLEU partners with rap royalty Nicki Minaj for emotive new single “Love In The Way”, out now. As the first single ahead of his album, “Love In The Way” gives an insight into BLEU’s journey as an artist thus far; from his early beginnings as Yung Bleu, to his fresh elevated sound as BLEU. “Love In The Way” kickstarts this new chapter for the versatile talent, who is also a GRAMMY-nominated songwriter, boasting production and writing credits for the likes of Lil Wayne and Megan Thee Stallion.
Oscar Jerome – Channel Your Anger
Jazzy cool kid is back on September 23rd with a new record “The Spoon”. After singles “Sweet Isolation” and “Berlin 1” he is serving us a new experimental but addictive track “Channel Your Anger”. Again, Oscar is pushing boundaries while creating a niche in which we all can enjoy his art.
Tamino – You don’t own me
Tamino has shared a new beautiful song “You Don’t Own Me” before launching his second record “Sahar”, which lands on September 23rd. “You Don’t Own Me” is emblematic of his approach, with the lyrics discussing a commitment to personal freedom, and offering a message of unity in the face of oppression.
