Verena Schepperheyn unveiled her Spring/Summer 2016 lookbook, featuring Lukas Z at VIVA Models shot by Sam Lee. Major influences for this collection have been the work of the Bauhaus artist Oskar Schlemmer, who was plotting the human body through pure lines. As well as the work of contemporary artist Navid Nuur, who is dealing with spontaneous material transformation. Taking those as inspiration for creating the textiles and the silhouettes, the new collection frames the male body into lines. Layers merged into fragments, assembled by using different techniques such as embroidery, stitching, embellishments and prints.

Spring/Summer 2016 ‘Juxtaposing Lines’ shows also the return of the A-line silhouette in tones of red, pink, white, beige and black alongside a matured textural interest. With materials ranging from light cottons and hand-woven fabrics to sheer neoprene, that work as canvas for the unique surface manipulations following the brands spirit.
