The most revered gay pop star of the year, with the permission of Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, has teamed up with American textile company Gap to become the main protagonist of the recently unveiled Fall 2024 campaign, “Get Loose”.
In the images and video shot by Dan Martensen that make up the launch, the artist can be seen posing in front of the camera and wearing cotton and denim garments in blue, brown, and black, including the 90’s Loose Cargo Jean, the Corduroy Jacket and the baggy trousers, which he appears wearing while dancing with the CDK Company to the sound of Thundercat’s “Funny Thing”.
Sivan is more than happy to be a part of the campaign, stating: “Being a part of the Gap campaign and wearing their jeans is perfect for me. Dancing has become a staple in my life, giving me confidence and a sense of timeless cool. I’m honoured to be a part of something that embodies style and effortless self-expression.”
While Mark Breitbard, president and CEO of Gap, said: “This fall, we’re celebrating Gap’s 55 years of denim heritage with a collection of loose-fitting styles that allow for self-expression. Our new campaign starring Troye Sivan perfectly captures the spirit of this moment with an attitude that showcases the movement of our denim and offers fashion as entertainment.”
Gap’s Fall collection is now available for purchase in both physical shops and online. Check out images from the “Get Loose” campaign below:
