Tommy Hilfiger may be the brand that brings the most news per month and even per week. On Monday, for example, we were aware of its upcoming participation in metaverse fashion week, and two days later, here it is making headlines all over the media, thanks to the launch of its capsule collection with London-based premium streetwear brand Aries, which is committed to essential silhouettes and plays on proportions, always using Aries’ artisanal techniques to reinvent the American company’s classic codes.

Comprising 35 pieces for men, women, and footwear, and inspired by the TOMMY JEANS archives, all the garments have been reimagined by the Aries team, offering a powerful play of proportions in denim layering that runs throughout the collection and applying Aries’ signature premium streetwear to today’s preppy. Highlights include the black trucker jacket with matching 5-pocket trousers and the screen-printed baggy jeans, among others.

Advocating once again for sustainability and the development of a better world, Tommy Hilfiger has been able to create fashion for everyone without wasting anything. The result of this action is Tommy x Aries: Remade, which is a selection of unique items handmade by Aries from existing pieces, derived from consumer waste and leftover materials. Our favorites? The vintage-style T-shirts and sweatshirts with remade Tommy flags and graffiti graphics.

For maximum impact, the campaign concept emphasizes the design and construction of each of the items, going for a down-to-earth aesthetic with a disruptive edge and overflowing energy. All of this is brought to life through the art direction of each image, with the use of patches, tape, and illustrations creating a cohesive narrative.

Shot by Angelo Pennetta, who brought his signature vision to the collaboration, the campaign stars Grammy-nominated rapper GloRilla, artist Novelist, and Aries’ family of friends, 5EB: Brian Tshabola, Haajar Djouada, Kasper Kapica, Kirbs, Nathan Rosen and Xiao Wang.

To complement the campaign, Aries founder and creative director Sofia Prantera has created a Fashion film featuring an instrumental version of GloRilla’s ‘Unh Unh’ with exclusive lyrics written by Novelist, Kirbs, and 5EB. The film features eye-catching visuals that nod to moments in TOMMY JEANS’s hip-hop history.
