Attention sneakers lovers, because the specialized footwear brand ROMBAUT, founded and creatively directed by Mats Rombaut, has presented at the latest edition of Paris Men’s Fashion Week a pair of models, in collaboration with sports brand PUMA, that promise to conquer everyone they set their sights on.

The sneakers we’re referring to were seen for the first time during its runway show debut that took place on Saturday 22 June at 7 pm in the French capital and later on the Belgian designer’s Instagram profile. The images in that post feature the sustainable football or sock-style shoes – part of the first collaboration between the two parties involved, “Levitation” -, inspired by Puma’s iconic archive from the 2000s,  and in three different styles, white and gold, white and black, and black. FYI, “Levitation” represents the quest for wisdom and meaning in everyday life.

What’s most remarkable about the item, apart from its minimalist look (very much in keeping with the brand’s style) and the absence of laces, is its “Levitation” sole and the floating sensation it offers, as the back is not attached to it. Undoubtedly, something new never seen before.

Do you like the ROMBAUT and PUMA sneakers? We give them a 10! Now we just have to wait until early 2025, when they will be available for purchase on the ROMBAUT website and in selected retailers. Stay tuned!
