Sneakmart x JW Customs x ASICS – Gel-NYC “KB to NY”
by Adriano Batista

Sneakmart and JW Customs have come together to introduce the GEL NYC “KB to NY” – a sneaker that embarks on a unique journey between Kobe, Japan, where ASICS first emerged in 1949, and New York, the birthplace of streetwear and hip-hop culture. This sneaker stands apart from the rest, and here’s why:
Each pair is meticulously handcrafted by Jacob Werner, also known as JW Customs, using shibori denim and special materials. The result? Every pair is a one-of-a-kind creation, as unique as the wearer.

There will only be 20 of these extraordinary sneakers in existence. But that’s not all; each one comes equipped with an NFC chip, and they’re all linked to their exclusive “Sneakmart+” digital version. Think of it as your golden ticket in the world of streetwear. The Sneakmart+ digital version is your membership card, granting you access to private sales and a whole bunch of other perks within the Sneakmart ecosystem.
The “KB to NY” pair will be up for grabs today, October 8, 2023, at 7 pm CET. It’s a raffle system, and you can snag a pair for €395. That price includes not only the physical sneakers but also the numbered NFC chip nestled inside each pair and the coveted Sneakmart+ digital version.
