Alvar Merino‘s new collection titled “Cicatrices” (Scars) explores the relationship between the self and its outer covering. The skin, seen as a living canvas, takes the spotlight in this collection, showcasing its ability to mutate and adapt. The tones and textures used in the pieces evoke the elasticity and vulnerability of the skin, creating a sense of intimacy and vulnerability.

The collection features a range of materials and textures. The color palette is muted and earthy, with shades of beige, brown, and gray predominating. The elegant designs focus on the natural beauty of the fabrics and the interplay of light and shadow.
