Samuel Ross is appointed artistic director of London Design Biennale 2025
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Good news for British designer Samuel Ross, who has recently been appointed as artistic director of the London Design Biennale 2025, which will be held from 5-29 June.

At this iconic event, the founder and creative director of A-COLD-WALL* will present a large installation at Somerset House, accompanied by works by other international designers, all of them different from each other but connected to Samuel’s chosen theme, ‘Surface Reflections’, related to the exploration of the self and how life stories and trajectories influence people.
Ross is delighted at the appointment, and said: “Taking part in the 2025 London Design Biennale as Artistic Director is an honour, I look forward to collaborating with each practitioner, ideally fuelling a spirit of experimentation, blurring the edges of where design meets art.”
It all looks very interesting, right? As if that wasn’t enough, Samuel Ross will develop a programme that will bring world-class works to the London centre and premiere a series of new large-scale sculptural works in the courtyard.
Will you miss it? Don’t! Remember the date and location, 5-29 June at Somerset House in London (UK). Stay tuned for more news.
