by Anna Barr
Ruslan Baginskiy’s hats have instantly become iconic since first debuting in 2015 with his Baker Boy and being spotted on A-listers from Madonna, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashians to the Hadids. While the brand’s cult following have been dubbed “RB Girls”, they have slowly expanded to men in recent seasons with V from BTS a big fan. Nothing is more genderless than a handcrafted hat and for Fall Winter 2022/23, we see the collection made up of wool felt cowboy hats, berets, bucket hats with a warm winter spin, watch caps, headbands and of course, the must-have Baker Boy in an array of sizes.
For the Ukrainian designer, who started showing the Fall/Winter collection at the start of the year, he has since moved his team and atelier from Kyiv to Lviv where they have managed to put the collection in production regardless of the many hurdles and hardships that face them and all of Ukraine.
