RHUDE Fall/Winter 2025
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Rhuigi Villaseñor – Founder and Creative Director of RHUDE – has been working non-stop for the past few months with his team to successfully present to the industry, his community, and anyone who wants to and can join in, his latest work entitled “Rhudeboy”.
This launch corresponds with the luxury brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection and pays homage to its origins, as well as channelling the rebellious spirit of Jamaican street culture from the 60s that the country’s immigrants proudly brought to London. The result of this process are the garments with a polished grunge aesthetic, raw and oversized silhouettes, and earthy-dark tones, materialised in the shape of velvet tracksuits, vintage washed nylon ensembles, or mohair knitwear, among others. With the above, we will see in the coming seasons the rebellious but chic boys strolling the streets of the main fashion cities or in some of the hot spots of them.
All in all, the line could be considered perfect for anyone who is looking for high quality and relaxed pieces with distinctive touches or workwear. But if looking for something more special, it is also possible to find it here, and as an example serve as what from our point of view are the highlights of the range: the brown distressed leather jacket with sheepskin detailing on the collar and red logo embossed on the front, and the black crocodile-effect leather jacket, finished off like the rest of the clothes with baseball-style caps, aviator sunglasses, round-toe sneakers and suede boots.
