A new era of avant-garde fashion has arrived with the MM6 Maison Margiela x Parsons collaboration. In a groundbreaking effort, first-year students in the MFA Fashion Design and The Arts program at Parsons Paris have joined forces with MM6 Maison Margiela to create a collection that reimagines the brand’s signature philosophy and house codes.
With an emphasis on personal expression and forward-thinking design, students were tasked with interpreting one of seven iconic themes, including Trompe-l’œil, Utilitarian, Multifunctional, Ready when worn, Circle, Self-reference, and Unexpected matches. Through this project, they explored new avenues of creativity, pushing the boundaries of fashion and design.
Get ready to witness the results of this dynamic exchange at the Parsons Paris campus on May 11, 2023. The exhibition promises to be a stunning showcase of artistry and innovation, as students unveil their fresh and original interpretations of the MM6 Maison Margiela brand.
