Dr. Martens doesn’t really do “quiet launches.” Last night, the brand crashed into Madrid’s Casa Música with the kind of energy only it can summon — a night that bent together music, style and subculture in celebration of its latest creation: the Zebzag.

The atmosphere was pure electricity. TWO EX took the stage, their live set bouncing off the walls as the crowd — a mix of actors, musicians, and the new guard of content creators — carved out their own rhythm. Among them: screen talents Diego Domínguez, Pau Simón and Agustina Bisio; music outsiders like Ade Martin, Kinda Patri, Color del Sol and Paula Reyes (Pipiolas); and a stream of digital voices — Carla Menéndez, Virgo Martínez, Maria XNG, Marina Tovar, Jeru, Jesús Lafuente, Gonzalo Ortuño — each pulling Dr. Martens deeper into their own worlds of fashion and culture.

But the real protagonists were on people’s feet. The Zebzag Laceless and Zebzag Rigger twisted Dr. Martens’ iconic DNA into new shapes: one a stripped-back slip-on echoing the classic 1460, the other a tough, industrial boot with side pullers built for the everyday grind. Both drop heavy on attitude, lighter on weight — set on the new Zebzag sole, a mash-up of EVA midsoles and PVC outsoles that delivers unapologetic comfort without losing the stomp. Add in SoftWair footbeds, and you’ve got a boot that’s as relentless as the people wearing it.

The night wasn’t about nostalgia. It was about where Dr. Martens goes next — a reminder that rebellion doesn’t retire, it reinvents.
