Ranra x Salomon Cross Pro “Better”
by Adriano Batista
In their second collaboration with Salomon, RANRA has taken their SS23 Cross Pro model to the next level with a series of smart design choices. They’re building upon their commitment to natural materials in the realm of high-performance sportswear.
They’ve given careful thought to every material’s supply chain, exploring new methods for natural dyes and fabrication techniques that minimize the use of glues and adhesives.
These decisions not only boost the sustainable aspects of the SS23 model, but also lead to a set of style updates. The use of advanced natural dye pigments brings life to fresh and vibrant color options on a sturdy cotton Ripstop upper. Plus, a newly crafted recycled rubber and natural EVA foam outsole introduces a more athletic form.
Check out below the images from the SS23 Cross Pro Better model showcased through a dining table setup at The Broken Arm (Paris) and Tres Bien (London). The display seamlessly integrates the brand’s modular display cubes and vintage tableware-adorned table tops. At the heart of each table, the model takes the spotlight encased in clear silicone jelly molds, echoing the Scandi food-inspired campaign imagery captured by Eddie Whelan during a recent Icelandic escapade.
