Pellat-Finet appoints Dryce Lahssan as Creative Director
by Adriano Batista
As the label approaches its 30th anniversary in 2024, it’s making waves with a game-changing move: the appointment of Dryce Lahssan as Creative Director for Collections and Image.
This exciting development breathes new life into PELLAT-FINET, rekindling its unique legacy just in time for a milestone celebration. Dryce Lahssan, with his design prowess, consulting background, and forward-looking instincts, brings a fresh perspective to the brand’s singular heritage.

Since its acquisition by Thierry Gillier in 2019, PELLAT-FINET has continued to honor the legacy of its founder, Lucien. Over several decades, Lucien gained a dedicated following by reimagining classic cashmere sweaters as a canvas for bold colors and provocative graphics. From cannabis leaves to skulls, he pushed the boundaries of cashmere fashion.
More recently, PELLAT-FINET has shifted its focus towards the essence of knitwear, crafting collections that exude purity in both appearance and texture. Now, Dryce Lahssan steps into this transgressive legacy, eager to redefine luxury with a disruptive approach.
In Dryce’s words, “To take over a brand born from this transgressive mindset is a unique opportunity. I am always trying to redefine luxury and move it forward with a disruptive approach. Now, I am excited to do so while working with the best cashmere technicians and factories. PELLAT-FINET captures the modern tension between luxury and self-expression, and this affords me immense freedom to write new codes and envision the brand’s future – a 3.0 image.”
Dryce joins PELLAT-FINET at a moment of increased visibility and growth. In March, the brand opened a boutique at 326 Rue Saint-Honoré, strategically positioned right across the street from the iconic Colette, where the influential retailer (1997-2017) once showcased the brand’s creations.
Stay tuned as Dryce unveils his creative direction and statement pieces during Fashion Week, promising a bright future for PELLAT-FINET.
