In a special blend of style and sports, Patta dropped its debut collaboration with FC Barcelona and Nike. The result? A collection that’s all about celebrating the lifeblood of football – its fans.
Patta’s reputation as a pioneer in streetwear made it the perfect partner for this project, where bold graphics meet the hallowed turf. The Dutch brand continues to deepen the connection between the Netherlands and Barcelona, nurturing a 50-year-long exchange of coaches and players. It’s also a nod to FCB’s Dutch-Suriname player connection through Patta’s founders, Guillaume Schmidt and Edson Sabajo, both hailing from Dutch-Surinamese roots.
The collection’s creative filter draws inspiration from the human heart and circulatory system, symbolizing the shared Barça blood coursing through veins (blau) and arteries (grana), echoing the pulse of Culers around the world.
The collection features Jerseys for men, women, and kids, an anthem jacket and pants, hoodies, T-shirts, and a cap. Our favorite is definitely the limited-edition Air Max Plus shoes, boasting Barça-inspired colorways. The shoes feature a beautiful gradient of Deep Royal Blue and Noble Red, painting the upper and midfoot plate. The Barça club crest adds a touch of authenticity, while lace tips evoke the stripes of the Senyera, the Catalan flag.
From established fans to newcomers, the Patta x Nike FC Barcelona collection is all about connecting everyone to their shared Blaugrana blood. It’s a celebration of the fans, the heartbeat of any football club.
