PALOMO x BIMBA Y LOLA
by Adriano Batista
Titled “Cruising in the Rose Garden,” the unexpected rendezvous at New York City’s iconic Plaza Hotel, curated by Palomo Spain, had all the movers and shakers of cultural youth, music aficionados, New York’s fashion elite, along with a mix of friends, international press, and city icons spilling into the hotel’s grand lobby.
The collection, under the creative helm of Alejandro Gómez Palomo, delved into the world of discreet encounters, offering inspiration and a vision of a world where identities can be freely expressed without judgment, a place where moments of ecstasy are found. It’s a celebration of love and desire, where individuals seek comfort and pleasure in each other’s arms, embracing the beauty and diversity of human longing.
This was the perfect moment for Palomo to unveil an exclusive and completely unexpected collaboration with BIMBA Y LOLA, aptly named “BIMBA Y PALOMO,” as the brand continues its US expansion. This collaboration seamlessly interwove throughout the show, showcasing a stunning line of jewelry, footwear, and handbags, culminating in the seven total looks that Palomo masterfully crafted in partnership with BIMBA Y LOLA.
The essence of this partnership lies in discovering the common DNA shared by both brands, forging a cohesive dialogue between their distinct universes. Check it out below:
