In previous seasons, founder and designer, Hung La, has brought villains and Sunday gangsters to life through skillful tailoring and subtle silhouettes. He weaves intricate narratives into his creations, building a fascinating world. However, for SS24, Hung La shifts his focus to the garments themselves, using them as a means to tell a compelling story. This collection is LỰU ĐẠN’s most ambitious endeavor yet, showcasing a rich tapestry of textures.

Drawing inspiration from Japan’s tobi trousers, traditionally worn by construction workers, the LỰU ĐẠN man embodies a clash of cultures. He deviates from the established character archetypes, leaving behind nostalgic references in favor of authenticity and struggle. He’s not a doctor, lawyer, or banker—never aspired to be one. Instead, he’s simply trying to make ends meet, choosing to fight his own battles along the way.
